Keep You and Your Family's Thoughts Centered on Christ

Hymns Illustrated membership helps keep distracted minds and overwhelmed souls centered on Christ by using the hymnal as a devotional tool . . . even when life gets busy.

When you intentionally expose you and your family members' hearts to hymns, it becomes easier for everyone to turn their eyes upon Jesus. God's Word tells us so!

How Well Is Your Family Using the Hymnal for Spiritual Growth?

Colossians 3:16 and Ephesians 5:15-19 are among many passages that clue us in on God’s plan for hymns and how they can and should extend past Sunday morning worship and into our daily lives. But if you're like most families, this is easier said than done.

The good news is, if you identify with any of the following statements, Hymns Illustrated membership will make it easy for you to expose you and your family to biblically solid hymns on a regular basis.

Does this sound like you?

  • You want to pass your love of hymns to the next generation — but aren't quite sure how.
  • You get distracted by the things of this world and you want to be more Heavenly minded.
  • You want to more easily remember God’s promises when you and your family need them the most.
  • You want to saturate your mind with biblical truth – even though time is limited.
  • You find yourself often overwhelmed by life and need help remembering that “one thing needful."
  • You're ready for some hope-filled songs in the night.
  • You struggle with anxiety.
  • You want to love Jesus better and you want that for your children, too.

Imagine What It Would Be Like to:

➡ Have family worship or homeschool morning basket material ready for you at the push of the print button.

➡ Overhear your children singing hymns about Jesus when you're in the other room.

➡ Remember biblical truth throughout the day as hymns "pop up" in your mind throughout your daily routine.

➡ Enjoy more meaningful conversations with your kids thanks to increased teachable moment opportunities.

➡ Wake up in the morning with a hymn in your heart to start your day.

➡ Fall asleep at night peacefully because reciting a hymn helped calm your anxious thoughts.

➡ Scroll the internet less and love Jesus better because your mind and heart is centered on Him.

What Hymns Are Included When You Join PLUS Membership Today?

The Wondrous Story Library

Our current library (2024) grows every month and includes The Love of God, To God Be the Glory, What a Friend We Have In Jesus, and more.

Our focus this year is all about the true, Gospel story and its message unfolds each month with a new truth and corresponding hymn.

These are especially familiar and favorite hymns.

The Song of Saints Library

In 2023, we worked through the history of our hymns and each month's hymn corresponded to a specific time period in hymn history.

Hymns Include: Holy Holy, Holy (Biblical); Shepherd of Tender Youth (Ancient); All Glory, Laud and Honor (Medieval); Jesus Lives and So Shall I (German); Jesus, Thy Blood and Righteousness (German); All People That On Earth Do Dwell (English); When I Survey the Wondrous Cross (English); The Doxology (English); There Is a Balm in Gilead (American Spiritual); Come, Ye Sinners (American); Count Your Blessings (American); Joy Has Dawned (Modern)

Hymns Illustrated Membership Is a Good Fit For You If . . .

  • You and your family want to explore the benefits of biblical meditation.
  • You want resources to enrich your own personal Bible study time.
  • You believe God has a bigger plan for hymns than the church realizes today.
  • You want done-for-you resources to help you teach hymns at home or church.
  • You want a simple way to include hymns in your family worship time.
  • You’re busy but loving God is your top priority.
  • You need a little extra encouragement and accountability to focus on Christ and teach hymns to your family.

Hymns Illustrated Membership Is NOT a Good Fit For You If . . .

  • You don't have access to a printer at home or your local library (our hymn study guide is digital).
  • You already create your own resources and would rather choose your own hymns each month.
  • You prefer other worship songs besides hymns.
