Our Theme for 2026

Our Hymn of the Month theme this year is Pilgrim Perspective, which reminds us that the Christian life is a journey toward our true home. Scripture teaches us that we are sojourners and pilgrims, learning to live with eternity in view as we follow Christ day by day.

This perspective helps us remain faithful, endure trials, and hold fast to hope—even in the hardest seasons.

Throughout church history, this idea has been illustrated in many ways. One familiar example is John Bunyan’s classic allegory Pilgrim’s Progress, which opens with a man named Christian fleeing the City of Destruction and crying out, “Life! Eternal Life!” This eternal, or “pilgrim,” perspective kept Christian focused on what truly mattered, helped him endure persecution and difficulty, and kept him on the path toward the Celestial City.

In the same way, the hymns chosen for this year are meant to keep our hearts and minds fixed on what matters most—our hope of eternal life with Christ, the promise of seeing Him face to face, and the call to run the race faithfully without being distracted by what is temporary and passing.

    New hymn studies are released throughout 2026. Once a study is added to your library, it remains available with lifetime access, so you can revisit it anytime.

    Use each hymn study at your own pace — weekly, occasionally, or when the moment calls for it. Each hymn stands on its own and can be used over several weeks, pulled out for a single lesson, or saved for a season when it’s especially meaningful—at home, in a classroom, or with a group.
